Welcome to ICTVT 2021

BACKGROUND

Research and technology supports are required in various aspects of life. The results, outcomes, and impacts of research and innovation in technology should be addressed to the real needs of the society. This offers future opportunities and challenges for researchers and academics in providing solutions to problems in the field. Research oriented towards developing technology as a solution to problems in various fields is eagerly awaited by the society and stakeholders.

In 2020, Indonesia and the international community have been hit by the global COVID-19 pandemic. The COVID-19 pandemic has paralyzed all aspects of life, resulting in conditions that accelerate innovations to help people respond to the crisis and survive the pandemic era. Furthermore, these innovations require collaboration from researchers and academics. Technological innovations to make society more resilient in the face of the pandemic have been carried out by researchers. However, research and innovation to deal with the COVID-19 pandemic should be further explored.

The 7th International Conference on Technology and Vocational Teachers is dedicated to a unified communication platform for professional practitioners in engineering fields, researchers, and vocational teachers from industry, academia and government. This conference also welcomes the researchers who have interdisciplinary collaboration of science and technology.
